Analysis of Domestic Cats

Domestic cats have an impressive evolutionary background, linking them to ancient saber-toothed cats and big cats like lions and tigers. While saber-toothed cats branched off millions of years ago, the Panther genus, which includes lions and tigers, emerged around 10-15 million years ago. Domestic cats share a distant ancestor with these big cats, inheriting traits like retractable claws and sharp hunting instincts.

With this set of icons, my goal was to encapsulate the elegance inherent in cats, celebrating their graceful movements, athletic agility, and captivating beauty. Each icon is designed to highlight these qualities, drawing inspiration from the refined, fluid lines of a cat’s silhouette and their poised yet powerful presence. This collection serves not only as a tribute to the visual appeal of cats but also to the artistry within their natural elegance, aiming to convey their essence through a minimalist and sophisticated approach.
